ArtistNe(s)t was a programme of artist residencies that Gabriela Tudor started with the George Apostu Cultural Centre in Bacău, the European Cultural Centre in Sinaia, the Arcuș Cultural Centre and the George Enescu National Museum in Tescani, funded by the Swiss Cultural Programme in Romania. From 2006 to 2008 these four public institutions and three NGOs (CIAC, the Menthor Foundation and Galeria Nouă) ran residencies in visual arts, contemporary dance, theatre and literature for more than 50 writers, choreographers, directors and visual artists from Romania, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, the United States, Canada, Luxembourg and Hungary.

From 2 to 5 April 2009 the ArtistNe(s)t meeting in Bacău, organised by United Experts and the George Apostu Cultural Centre, brought together more than 35 artists, cultural managers and journalists. The meeting was dedicated to Gabriela’s memory.
